" كأنني أريد " يذهب بعيدا عن كل التنظيرات والقوانين والثوابت ليقدم أفقا خاصا ، واقتراحات جمالية مختلفة نسبيا عن السائد والمستهلك ، والابتعاد عن الشائعات التي أضرت بقصيدة النثر . هو الديوان الثاني بعد " المتربصة بنفسها" وبينهما كانت رواية " وردة الرمال " ، والشاعرة تنحو في كتابتها نحو المزج الفني بين المجازي المفرط ، والواقعي المعيش بشكل عام ، مبتعدة عن قرض بنية واحدة للقصائد، فالقصائد طوال ديوانها حالات افتراضية أو اقتراحية ، وهي حالات جمالية تفترض الحياة ولا تدينها ولا تهجوها ، لا فرح بالموجود والقائم ، ولكن هناك بناء مجازي لحياة متصورة .
