تحتلُّ مجلَّة الموسم في عالم المعرفة منزلةً محترمةً فهي تمثِّلُ لوناً فريداً من نوعهِ من المجلاتِ وتشتملُ على زادٍ علميٍّ وفير وتضعُ يدَ الباحث على مفاتيح المعرفة من مادة البحثِ الخام مع إطلاعِ القارئ على مختلفِ النشاطِ الأدبي في مختلفِ الأقطارِ.
وُلِدَتِ الموسمُ في الهند عام 1409هـ/1989م، وهناك صدر عددها الأوَّلُ الذي لم أطَّلعْ عليه حتى الآن، حيث أسَّسها صاحبها ومديرها المسؤول ورئيس تحريرها الأُستاذ مُحمّد سعيد الطُّريحي، واختار الهندَ مهداً لها، ويبدو أنه لم يجد لها البيئة المناسبة هناك، فحمل غرسته المباركة وانتقل بِها إلى بيروتَ، فدمشقَ، ثمَّ استقرّ بِهما المقامُ أخيراً في هولندا.
وهي تُعالجُ موضوعاتٍ أدبيَّةً مهمَّةً، ومن خلالِ ما تنشرُهُ الموسمُ يعرفُ القارئ أنَّ رئيسَ تحريرِها ذو ثقافةٍ تاريخيّةٍ وأدبيّةٍ وعلميّةٍ واسعةٍ وله إحاطةٌ بِمختلف الموضوعاتِ، يلمسُ القارئُ كلَّ ذلك منَ البحوثِ التي تُنشَرُ في (الموسم) وهو موسمٌ متنوّعٌ موزَّعٌ على جميع الفصول، يظهر ذلك جليّاً من خلال البحوث المنشورة، والمختارات الشعريّة لكبار شعراء العصر، والدراسات الأثريّة المعزّزة بالصورِ الموثِّقةِ القديمةِ والحديثةِ والمستقاة من عددٍ كبير من المصادرِ العلميّةِ المهمةِ وفقَ المنهجِ العلميِّ السليمِ وتعرف ثقافة الرجلِ من خلالِ المصادرِ المهمة المتنوعة التي يرجِع إليها ويغترفُ منها، وربما ينفضُ الغبارَ عن بعضِ المخطوطاتِ ويقدِّمُها للقارئ واضحةَ المعالم.
