تاريخ المرأة: كتابٌ سرد فيه مؤلفه حالَ المرأة ومكانتَها لدى الأمم والشعوب، وهي التي تتعرض اليوم للهجوم الشديد، والانتقاد اللاذع بسبب تمسكها بتعاليم الإسلام، ويدعي مهاجموها أنهم يريدون حريتها، واستقلاليتها في حياتها، ومعاشَها دون حسيب، أو رقيب يتسلط عليها، أو يوجهها. هذه المرأة التي كان أجداد المهاجمين لها يعدونها قطعة من متاع البيت يُفعل بها ما يُشاء، حتى انتهت بهم مناقشات حكمائهم إلى الحيرة في أمرها؛ هل هي أقرب إلى الجنس البشري منها إلى الجنس الحيواني، أم العكس؟! فالغرب لم ينصف المرأة قديماً ولا حديثاً؛ حيث أغرت الحضارة المعاصرة المرأة بالخروج من عشها الناعم الرغيد، وأجبروها على العمل مع الرجل، وأوهموها بالمساواة الخادعة، فأصبحت جزءاً من أي سلعة تُسَوِّقُ أفكارهم ومنتجاتهم. ثم ذكر المؤلف كيف ضبط كلٌّ من القانونين الإلهي والوضعي العلاقة الجنسية بين الرجل والمرأة، وكيف أن الإسلام أعطى المرأة حقوقاً لم تحصل عليها المرأة الغربية إلى الآن من خلال القوانين الوضعية التي سلبت من المرأة حياءها، وألزمتها العمل مع الرجل جنباً إلى جنب من أجل تأمين قوت يومها، فالرجل ـ حسب قوانينهم الوضعية ـ غير ملزم بالإنفاق عليها لأن في ذلك ـ على حدِّ زعمهم ـ امتهاناً لحريتها وكرامتها واستقلاليتها. ثم ذكر مقارنات بين حقوق وواجبات المرأة لدى الحضارتين الإسلامية والغربية في الزواج والطلاق. ثم ختم بذكر كيف أن الرجل الغربي استغل المرأة، وكيف أن المرأة الغربية تمردت على الرجل، فأصبحت الحياة الاجتماعية لديهم جحيماً لا يطاق.
