عمر بن رسلان بن نصير بن صالح الكناني، العسقلاني الأصل، ثم البلقيني المصري الشافعيّ، أبو حفص، سراج الدين:
مجتهد حافظ للحديث، من العلماء بالدين. ولد في بلقِينة (من غربية مصر) وتعلم بالقاهرة. وولي قضاء الشام سنة 769 هـ وتوفي بالقاهرة.
