إن من أعظم البلايا وأخطر الرزايا التي انتشرت في كثير من بلاد المسلمين اليوم ظاهرة سبّ الدين وسبّ الذات الإلهية وسبّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالإضافة إلى سبّ الصحابة. وبما أن هذا الأمر خطير انبرى مؤلف الكتاب إلى توجيه هذه الرسالة الهادفة التي فيها يذكر أقوال العلماء في حكم سبّ الدين أو سب الذات الإلهية أو سبّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أو الصحابة، أو حتى سبّ المخلوقات التي سيبين في هذا الكتاب حكم كل منها لكي يدرك هؤلاء الذين يستهينون بهذه المسألة خطورة هذا الأمر وخطورة الواقع الذي نحن فيه.
يعرض هذا الكتاب لأمر خطير وبلية عظمة وطامة كبرى انتشرت في بلاد المسلمين-خاصة في بلاد الشام والعراق-ألا وهي ظاهرة سبّ الدين والذات الإلهية، وسبّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وسبّ الصحابة رضي الله عنه.
ولمعالجة هذا الخطر يضع المؤلف هذه الرسالة منبهاً فيها السابَّين والمستهزئين، لعلها تكون صرخة مدوية في وجوههم وهزّة عنيفة لتوقظهم من غفلتهم، فيكفّوا عن سبهم، ويدركوا خطورة ما يقولون وعظم هذه الجناية التي يرتكبون فيتوبوا إلى ربهم.
وقد اشتملت الرسالة على تعريف السبّ، وأصول المكفرات وموقف القرآن والسنة من سبّ الذات الإلهية والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والأنبياء والملائكة والصحابة والدين والمخلوقات عامة، وحكم ذلك، والأحكام المترتبة على السبّ والكفر.
ثم ختم بخلاصة وتنبيه للآباء والمسؤولين لدرء نار جهنم عن أنفسهم وأولادهم.
