يبحث هذا الكتاب البنيان القانوني لعقد إعداد برامج الحاسب حيث الأساس القانوني أهذا العقد حيث يعتبره شيئا مادياً وعقارياً ومنقولاً وخدمة وملكية معلوماتية وهو من ضمن براءة الاختراع وذلك الوجود الجدة والابتكار والقابلية للاستغلال الصناعي فيه بالإضافة لعدم مخالفته للآداب العامة ثم يشير إلى التكييف القانوني لعقد إعداد برامج الحاسب فيبين محاولات تحديد التكييف حسب الفرض من الإنشاء وتحديد تكييف القانون حسب إرادة الأطراف والتكييف المختار لعقد إعداد برامج الحاسب ثم يبين أركان عقد إعداد برامج الحاسب وهو أولا الرضا كالتدريس والغلط وثانيا محل وسبب عقد إعداد البرامج ويشير في الباب الثاني الآثار المترتبة على عقد إعداد برامج الحاسب وهي التزامات البرامج وإعداد البرامج وتسليم البرامج وضمان العيوب البرمجة وبيان هذه العيوب أن يكون خفياً ومؤثراً وملزماً بالضمان وسبب الضمان ثم يتناول الالتزام بالتعاون في المرحلة المفاوضات العقدية وفي المرحلة قبول البرامج واستخدام بالإضافة إلى التزام بالاستعلام وجزاء الإخلال بعدم تمكين المبرمج من الإعداد ثم تسليم البرامج وقبوله ودفع البدل وما يجب الوفاء بع وكيفية الوفاء.
