هذه السيرة، رواية من نبع الذات مع ما تحمله من أدب واجتماع وتجارب ومعاناة، انطلاقاً من أمكنة وأزمنة تتضمن التفاصيل العامة والخاصة المصطبغة بتاريخ المرحلة المعاشة والمحكي عنها والتي تلامس حقولاً مختلفة من صور الاجتماع ومن وعي تعكسه ثقافة الجماعة وهويتها القلقة. إن انتصار اللبنانيين على الجيش الإسرائيلي في تموز وآب 2006 وقبله تحرير الجنوب في 25 أيار من العام 2000، وهو انتصار للذات اللبنانية في صمودها وثقافتها ومقاومتها الوطنية وإذا كان ثمة خصوصية جنوبية ما فهي في تعرض أبناء الجنوب منذ العام 1948 -تاريخ اغتصاب فلسطين وقيام الدولة الإسرائيلية- إلى سلسلة حروب واحتلالات واعتداءات وما نتج عنها من هجرات داخلية ونزوح إلى بيروت وضواحيها (...). ما هي التجارب -قل المحن التي عاشها الجنوبيون حيث سكنوا وعملوا وتعلموا؟ كيف راكموا الخبرات والتجارب؟ لعل صفحات هذه السيرة القلقة، السيرة الذاتية -الجماعية من الجنوب إلى حزام البؤس البيروتي كفيلة بالمساهمة في الإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة وسؤال كيف ولماذا انتصر لبنان؟
