لا يقصد المؤلف من هذا الكتيب الدخول في تفصيلات الصلاة وسائر زواياها، بل أراد التنبيه، تنبيه المصلي إلى مدى ما لإقامة الصلاة حق الإقامة من آثار وتأثير إيجابي على نفسه وبدنه، دنيا وأخرى. وكان الجهد فيه أن يكون بصورة مبسطة عن إقامة الصلاة ومقدماتها قلباً وقالباً، قولاً وعملاً، باطناً وظاهراً. هذا وقد حاول المؤلف توضيح الفكرة والمطلوب بشيء من البيان، مفردات وأشكال... قصد التبيان بصورة مبسطة محددة. وحرص على مواكبة المطلوب بضوء من كتاب الله تعالى، ومن سنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، مشكلاً من هذا النور إطاراً لروضة السعادة وبستاناً للعبادة ومعراجاً للروح، ومراقياً للإنسان المؤمن في عالم الرقي والرفعة وسمو الصلاح في المجتمع الذي يعيشه.
