ما يميز أعمال "إبراهيم زولي" الشعرية تلك الزخرفة الذهنية، وصفاً ومضموناً ومزاجاً، قصائده أشبه بلوحة تجريدية تغوص بعمق في معنى الوجود وسر الحياة. في "رجال يجوبون أعضاءنا "تساؤلات شاعر عن فوضى الروح ومتاهات الرغبة، في "ريح صرصر في الروح" يقول: "إلى عينيك تأخذني/ الكواكب إن أردت/ العشق واختالت/ على جسدي/ ثياب الرغبة السفلى/ أنا المجنون يهجس/ قبل مولده/ جثت نار الغواية/ بين أعضائي/ وصففت الطيور الخضر/ أستدعي العزيزة (...) هكذا تتعلمين/ الحب من فوضاي/ هل عدنا علامات/ على أجسادنا الفرقى؟(...)". وهكذا جاء الكتاب بقصائده الإثنان والعشرون انطولوجيا بالغة الثراء تتداخل فيها الأساليب والأنواع وتتقاطع مع مرجعيات الواقع الحسي الأكثر جلاء عبرَت عنه فردانية الشاعر وقدرته الإبداعية التي لم تستخدم فيها لغة المجازات كما يحفل عيره، وإنما كانت نصوصه مكاشفة صريحة يترك فيها للقارئ حرية التأويل والقراءة بحسب الواقع الذي ينتمي إليه....
