"انطفأ كل شيء لحظة، حتى السراج نفخت عليه، والدتي بكلتا رئتيها، لئلا يتنبه الطيران لوجودنا وساد صمت يشبه صمت القبور، ولم ينتشلنا من هذه الحال إلا هرتنا التي قفزت من النافذة، فاهتزت الأفئدة، وتحسس كل منا صدره والعصفور المرتعش داخله، فتحت عينيّ مبحراً في العتمة، فلم أجد لورد اثراً، خجلت من السؤال عنها، لكنني تقدمت في اتجاه البوابة الخارجية فلم أتحسس غير بقايا عطراً أنثوي يهمي كلما اندفعت نسمة نحو وجهي المتعب".
في "جسد بلا غد" صور تعكس الواقع بكل تفاصيله، وترسم الإنسان بكل حالاته، في حبه وكرهه، في قوته، وضعفه، يرسمها "أحمد بزون" بإحساس فنان وبموهبة أديب عايش الواقع وكتب عنه وعن حروبه وأوجاعه بكل أحاسيسه وبعفوية مطلقة.
تقدمت من عرش "الأميرة الحمراء" أتفقد عريها، فوجدت خصلات شعر أحمر منعوف، تبعث إثرها متفحصاً قلقاً، فإذا برسم لوجهها وشعرها محفور على الصخرة.
أرعبني الرسم خفت أن تعاود اغتصابي، وما بي رمق ولا مضيض، ولا في ظهري حَيْل ولا حَوْل، ولا تقوم لجذعي قيامة، فخففت إلى مأواي بين الزيتون. تعاودني ذكراها، من دون أن يصدَّق حكايتها معها أحد. ورحت أنتظرها في يقظتي ومنامي، تنبت صورتها أمام عينيّ، في كل بريّة، وبين تلافيف كل ليلة معتمة مقفرة.
