الرحمانية كلمة مشتقة من الرحمة وهي ديمقراطية القرآن باعتباره كتاب الله الخالد، فهي تستند إلى رحمة الله بخلقه كعباد متساوين أمام الله وأكرمهم عند الله أتقاهم وأقربهم إليه أنفعهم لعياله. ويجب أن تفهم الديمقراطية بمعناها الشامل باعتبارها حكم الجماعة بالجماعة وللجماعة. وأساسها المبدئي جماعية وسائل العمل والإنتاج وإباحتها لجميع العاملين والعالمين. والأصل في الأشياء الإباحة إلا ما نص على تحريمه حصراً وقطعاً. فهي إذن الإباحية الإلهية على أساس الحقوق المتساوية والواجبات المتكافئة، والمسؤولية الشخصية أم الله والجماعة.
والرحمانية تستوعب العبادة والعمل في تناغم وانسجام فكل عمل خلاق منتج عبادة. والعبادة تصديق للإيمان. والإيمان وقود العمل الصالح ومحتواه في تكامل بين ما هو روحاني ومادي.
وفي هذا الكتاب تناول الرحمانية من خلال أوالياتها وظاهراتها العملية. فالحج تظاهرة رحمانية مجسدة للعلاقات الإنسانية الرحبة والراحمة والممتدة نحو الله في عبودية خالصة حرة مفعمة بالعزة والكرامة لعباد الرحمان، تقية صافية من أي شائبة لعبودية الإنسان لإنسان آخر أياً كان، ومتجردة من تقديس الملكية والمال الحرام، ومن الأوهام والطلاسم والخزعبلات، ودعوات الباطل والهمهمات والتجسيدات الصنمية والتعويدات، مهتدية إلى ربها بالعقل والعلم والحكمة.
وبعد الحج تكلم عن صلاة الجمعة، وللصلاة معنيان، المعنى المعتاد وهو ذكر الله بقراءة القرآن مع الركوع والقنوت والسجود. والمعنى الآخر هو الرحمة والتراحم وتتمثل بصلاة الجمعة. فالجامع ملاذ المظلوم والمحروم وحرية الرأي وحقية الاجتهاد والتذكير بمصالح الجماعة وقضاياها ومشاكلها. فهي عبادة رحمانية ديمقراطية حقة.
ثم تناول بعض جوانب نظرية الأمية في القرآن. ثم تكلم عن محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم باعتباره نبي الجماعة وختمنا الكتاب بالثورة المنشودة ليأجوج ومأجوج وهي (الوعد الحق) من رب العالمين.
