يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى احتواء أهم مصطلحات إدارة البناء في مجلد واحد مترجمة من الفرنسية إلى العربية وهذا قصد تلبية الرغبات الملحة لمستعمليها في هذا القطاع. فلهذا الغرض بات من الضروري مطالعة عدة قواعد من المعطيات ومراجع متخصصة كالمؤلفات القانونية والتجارية والنصوص الرسمية المتعلقة بقانون البناء وكتيبات دليلية خاصة بوكالات العقار، والمنشورات الإعلانية في اليوميات الإخبارية، والكتيبات الدليلية الفنية منها والتجارية المتعلقة بمواد ومنتوجات البناء وكذا مواقع الإنترنت المتصلة بالعقار وإنشاء المباني. هذا القاموس الذي استغرق إنجازه بضع سنوات يحتوي على حوالي 20000 مصطلح إداري وتقني تجاري متداول من طرف المهنيين المهتمين بالقطاع كموظفي الإدارات العمومية والخاصة وكذا المتعاملين مع سوق العقار وقطاع إنشاء المباني. إن انتقاء المقابل للمصطلحات المقدمة كان الهدف منه التعبير عن عدة حالات حسب سياق الموضوع وهذا طبقاً لقرارات أكاديمية اللغة العربية. بعض التعريفات أدرجت حتى يسهل فهم بعض المصطلحات الأساسية في العقار أو الحديثة العهد في هذا الميدان. وأضيفت كذلك بعض المصطلحات اللاتينية الدارجة الاستعمال في هذا المعجم. نأمل أن يجد هذا القاموس هدفه الذي أنجز من أجله كوسيلة يستعملها المنشغلون بالبحث عن المصطلح بالترجمة الملائمة في ميادين إنشغالاتهم حتى يتسنى لهم اجتناب الترجمات التي تكون أحياناً مشوبة بلبس وبخاصة لدى الوسائل الإعلامية الحالية أو عموماً لدى المصالح الإدارية أو القانونية.
