"رجل بلا متعة يجلس وحيداً وبتأمل البحر، يجلس مستمتعاً ويتذكر، امرأة من برونز تذهب وحيدة والبحر يبقى! مقهى بلا مقاعد أو أسرة، حرفاء عديدون، هو البحر طفل كبير فقد ألعابه وظل يبكي من يعزي البحر!". وكأن هذه الثلاثية "ثلاثية حمد" مرآة فيتيولوجية يرصد محمد القيسي من خلالها ذاته وظلالها القصية، إن الذات هنا لا تتعين إلا عبر محاورة الميثولوجيا والتوزاي معها، وتقمصها لغة ومذاقاً، ففي كتاب "حمدة" الذي هو الجزء الأول من الثلاثية، استعار المؤلف أسطورة "ممنون" وأمه "اورورا"، لكنه عكس الأدوار فيها، فبدل أن يموت "ممنون" فتبكيه أمه، ماتت هي فبكاها ليستردها بالبكاء. إن عكس الأسطورة هو عكس للواقع أيضاً، فرثاء (حمدة) التي هي "أورورا"، هي في حقيقته رثاء للابن... رثاء للذات التي توازي مسيحاً رفع ولم يمت وتحول بالمطلق إلى ابن أبدي تراجيدي. والحقيقة أن مأساة (الابن الأبدي) هي واحدة من المآسي الأساسية التي تميز بها تاريخ الفلسطيني بشكل أو بآخر، لقد تفكك ثالوثه المقدس، ولم يعد لديه سوى صليبه ودمه، ودرب آلامه الطويل، ولقد تمكن محمد القيسي في ثلاثية هذه من الإضاءة، لا على مأساته ومأساة شعبه فقط، بل على التناظر العميق أيضاً بين الواقع والميثولوجي، ذلك التناظر الذي ندرك عمقه حين ننتبه إلى أن العدو الذي واجهه الابن الميثولوجي هو نفسه العدو الذي يواجهه الابن الواقعي، وأن الأم الأرض في الحالين واحدة، إن سيرة الفلسطينيين التي تكتبها "ثلاثية حمدة" ليست سيرة آلامه ونكساته، بل هي سيرة هذا الامتداد المؤيد في الزمان والمكان والفكرة التي تلمع فوقهما كسماء مضاءة.
