هذه مجموعة من القصائد الوطنية النضاحة بالحب والوفاء وعميق الانتماء، كتبها الشاعر في أوقات مختلفة، وفي مناسبات متعددة وهي إن نشر منها في الصحف والمجلات الأردنية والسعودية في حينه النزر اليسير، إلا أنها جميعاً لا تزال تحتفظ برونقها وجمالها وملاءمتها لهذا العصر.
وأول ما يطالعنا في هذا الديوان وطنية صادقة، صفاقة بالعنفوان النبيل... حيث يستهل الشاعر بوحه في "حزيران 1967" ليقول واصفاً واقعاً مراً يقطر منه العلقم: القلب عان.. أنا لم أمت في حومة الميدان، يا ويلتي.. من نقمة الأحزان! وفي "دمعة عربي"، يسيل دماً على القدس الشريف.. ذلك الجرح النازف في قلب كل عربي.. وتلك المأساة المخضبة بالمحنة والهزيمة التي تحفر وشمها الغائر فجيعة في كل ذرة رمل، وكل مسام جبين لأولئك المنكسرة أفئدتهم.. ساكني الأرض الممتدة من الماء إلى الماء... يقول في رائعته: أبناء قومي.ز لوان الأرض ناطقة، تشكو التألم، لم أسأل، ولم أجب، لكن رأيت عرار البيد ذابلة، وأدمع الشيخ تجريها يد الغضب، فالريح تعول في كثبانها جزعاً، والدمع يشرق بالواحات والهدب.
