صدر عن مركز دراسات الوحدة العربية كتاب "ما بعد الصهيونية" للدكتور كاظم علي مهدي.
يشير الكتاب إلى أن الحركة الصهيونية عمدت منذ ولادتها على يد مؤسسها ثيودور هرتزل وحتى تحقيق هدف قيام دولة «إسرائيل» على أرض فلسطين، إلى العمل عبر تيارات فكرية صهيونية كثيرة، منها الصهيونية العملية والتوفيقية والروحية والإقليمية والاشتراكية والدينية والمقاتلة. واستطاعت هذه التيارات أن تدعم أهداف الصهيونية السياسية مع تنوع منطلقاتها ووسائلها من جهة، ومثّلت مصدر إغناء فكري وإضفاء طابع حيوي مرن في إدامة تحقيق هذا الهدف من جهة أخرى. لكن بعد تحقيق هدف إقامة الدولة، طُرحت التساؤلات حول مدى قدرة الصهيونية على الاستمرار في تحقيق أهدافها، ومواكبة التطورات الجديدة. وهكذا ظهرت الأزمة الصهيونية؛ ومن رحم هذه الأزمة المتفاقمة المستمرة حتى الوقت الحاضر، ولد تيار جديد عُرف بتيار ما بعد الصهيونية.
يمثل هذا الكتاب الدراسة المعاصرة والشاملة الأولى حول موضوع ما بعد الصهيونية على المستوى العربي، وهو بحث موضوعي حاول توخّي الدقة الموضوعية بعيداً من الأحكام المسبقة، الأمر الذي يضع القارئ العربي في خضم الفهم المعاصر للفكر السياسي الإسرائيلي وتطوراته واتجاهاته المستقبلية المحتملة.
يتضمن الكتاب أربعة فصول إلى جانب الخلاصة التنفيذية والمقدمة والخاتمة. الفصل الاول بعنوان: "الإطار المفاهيمي لدراسة الصهيونية وما بعدها، والفصل الثاني: "الطروحات الفكرية الداخلية لما بعد الصهيونية"، والفصل الثالث: "الطروحات الفكرية الخارجية لما بعد الصهيونية"، والفصل الرابع: "الرؤية العربية والإسرائيلية لما بعد الصهيونية".
