الغروب، وحده يمكن أن ينقل دمشق من حال إلى حال. من حال السكنة والهمود إلى حال الترفع والاختيال. حتى أشجار الياسمين ذات الأزهار الناصعة البياض، مثل قلب لم يمسه الحقد بعد، تبدأ الهفهفة والدوران ومساء، عطورها المتناثرة في تقاطعات الأبنية والطرقات تشهد على أن المساء بلا عكور. مساء مَنْ، ذلك الذي كان عليّ أن أجيئهم فيه، أيضاً؟ ومن أنا (من كنت) في ذلك المساء الممتلىء بالتوتر والوجد؟ كيف يعثر الكائن على ذاته في مدينة ضيَّعت ذاتها؟ وأي معنى لسكون المرء في جوّ من التوتر والاضطراب؟ لم لا أمشي كما تمشي الريح مخترقاً تواتراتي البليدة التي قيدتني منذ سنين؟ أشجار الياسمين، قلت؟ هي الأخرى، أحسها تمشي معي تقطع الشوارع الضيقة والفسيحة، تماماً، مثلما أفعل أنا، أينما مشيت ثمّة شيء أبيض فوّاح يلاصقني. الناس الذين اختفوا طيلة اليوم من قسوة الشمس، يبدأون، هم أيضاً، مثل الياسمين، ظهورهم العارض مساء. ذلك الظهور الذي سرعان ما يزول مخلّفاً في الفضاء روائحهم التي لا تنسى؟". أصدقاء ثلاثة وكاتب يملك ناصية الكلمة، وعمق المعاني، وقدرة على التحليق في عالم الخيال الروائي، يدور في دائرة أحداث تتموضع ضمن زمان وضمن مكان الزمان هو 67 والمكان دمشق، تتداعى الأحداث باسترسال لطيف، تحملها تلك المشاعر التي تأخذ القارئ إلى حلم لذيذ.
