حنان بنت محمد سعدي المنجد الشهير باللحام، من مواليد دمشق عام 1943 م.
بدأت بكتابة القصة القصيرة ولها أربع مجموعات: ميلاد جديد، الشمس والريح، جيل العطش، وأدرك شهرزاد الصباح، وثلاثة كتب عن الصحابيات: سمية بنت خياط، أم سليم بنت ملحان، أم حكيم بنت الحارث.
وضعت عدة كتب في التفسير لعدد من سور القرآن: "سورة ياسين، لقمان، النساء، البقرة.." ووضعت كتاباً بعنوان: "منزلة المرأة في القرآن الكريم"، وآخر بعنوان "هدي السيرة في التغيير الاجتماعي".
