فضيلة الشيـخ الطاهر بدوي من مواليد 1945 بولاية برج بوعريريج الجمهورية الجزائرية، رجـل طلب العلـم.
فحضي بتوفيق الله له أن حفّظه كتابه الكـريم وعمره لم يتجاوز الأربعة عشر عاما، استرسل في طلب العلم والمعرفة إلى أن تخرج من المدرسة الوطنية للإدارة (فرع الإدارة العامة) فكان من نعمة الله عليه أن تقلّد المناصب ونشط في الوظائف.
رجل متواضع تواضع العلماء الربانيين، سخي سخاء الزهاد، راجح العقل رزقه الله الحكمة، لسانه رطب بذكر مولاه والثناء على رسوله الصادق الأمين.
من يجلس إليه ويسمع منه يتمنى أن لا يتوقف عن الكلمة الطيّبة، ومن يفارقه يشدّه الشوق إلى لقائه من جديد، كيف لا وهو يذيق زائره على الدوام رحيق المحبة ...
وبالرغم من التكوين الإداري الذي تلقاه، فالرجل ميّال إلى الخلوة والتصوف والانقطاع للبحث العلمي والتأليف.
له مؤلفات عدة، منها ما هو مطبوع ومنها ما نُشر على صفحات الجرائد في شكل مقالات باللغتين عربية وفرنسية.
ومنها ما هو مسجل على الأشرطة.
وقد أثنى على هذا العمل الجليل جماعة من العلماء والمشايخ منهم على سبيل الذكر لا الحصر الأستاذ الكاتب والفيلسوف أحمد بن ناسي رحمه الله، الأستاذ العربي كشاط مدير المركز الثقافي الاجتماعي بمسجد الدعوة باريس، والعالم الجليل الأستاذ محمد الصالح الصديق صاحب التآليف العديدة في الدعوة إلى الله، الشيخ حمدن بن التاه أمين عام رابطة علماء موريتانيا، الأستاذ و المفتش أحسن بيراش، الشيخ محمد شارف رحمه الله إمام ممتاز بالجامع الكبير وعضو لجنة تصحيح المصحف العثماني وكذا رئيس المجلس العلمي لولاية الجزائر الكبرى ...
فجازى الله كل داع إلى الله تعالى وبارك فيه وله في الدارين أمين.
