Book Description
روايةٌ تدور أحداثُها بين مدن بيروت وصيدا وبعلبك أثناء الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانية. تتبَّع مصائر خمسة سياسيّين عراقيين اختلفوا مع الحزب الشيّوعي العراقي ورحلوا إلى لبنان، وانتموا إلى المقاومة الفلسطينيّة إبّان حرب المخيّمات. وعلى خلفية حرب الشوارع السائدة في بيروت، والقصف الإسرائيلي للمخيّمات الفلسطينيّة تعيش الشخصيات تجارب عاطفية وعلاقات إنسانية متعدّدة حول الحب والصداقة والزواج. يبرز في الرواية مساران متوازيان هما: الحياة الشخصيّة للأبطال ومناخ العنف السائد آنذاك. مساران يرسمان لوحةً للحرب في مراحلها الأخيرة، عبر الوقائع التي تلفّ الجميع بتوتّرها وسرعتها، فتُغيِّر نمطَ حياتهم وتقرّر بالتالي مصائرهم.
