على غير المعتاد، بأن تجرّ الحرب الشعرَ إلى خنادقها الملغمة، ومعادنها اللامعة، وخرابها العميم. وقد تفعلُ مع المشاعر فعلها، بأن تذهب بها تصاعديًا، إلى النّكران، ما يرفعُ صوت القصيدة ونبرها، اختار علي جازو لنفسه ولقصيدته خطًا آخر، اعترف بالخسران، وأراد لقصيدته أن تتجنب ادعاء القوة. وعليه فقد ذهبت نصوص مجموعته الجديدة «ابتهالات» إلى الخفوت. إلى الترجّي. ترجّي ما يتمنّى: يا ربُّ، النصرُ عادةُ خرابٍ العادات مضحكة لا تُضحِك. **** إنهُ في مقاطعِهِ القصيرة الهادئة، يتأملُ، فيأملُ، فيترجّى. إنهُ يعبرُ نهر الخراب بقارب الابتهال. إنهُ يعترفُ بالضعف ليقوى: يا ربُّ، فرْقٌ صامتٌ! الموتُ ضيقٌ لا يُردُّ. ابتهِل. **** لكنّ الحربَ ليست موضوعة قصائد علي جازو الأخيرة، إنها الحياة، بكامل عريّها، بجمالها وآلامها، بطبائعها وناسها وأحجارها وحواسها. يتابعُ علي جازو: يا ربُّ، سئمتُ جوعًا، لا يصرخُ. الجوعُ صراخُ طفلٍ. إلى طفلك، انظرْ. **** علي جازو يبتهلُ فيما يتمنى، فيما يرى ويفكّرُ ويحسّ. وقد صدق إذ أطلقَ على مجموعته هذا الاسم. «ابتهالات» لعلي جازو، صدرت عن سلسلة براءات في منشورات المتوسط، وهي مجموعة إصدارات خاصة فقط بالشعر، والقصة القصيرة، والنصوص، أطلقتها المتوسط احتفاء بهذه الأجناس الأدبية.
