نبذة النيل والفرات: مجلة فصلية بحثية محكمة تصدر عن دار النهضة العربية، تعنى بشؤون الإتصال والتنمية في المجال العربي. يرأس تحريرها الأستاذة "مي العبد الله". تطل هذه المجلة العربية الأولى للإتصال والتنمية لتلبي حاجة الباحثين العرب إلى إطار عملي للتعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي، وحاجة قطاعات الإنماء المختلفة إلى مساهماتهم وأعمالهم ودراساتهم التي يفترض تشكّل القاعدة العلمية لأي تخطيط وتطوير في المنطقة، وتشكّل المجلّة مرجعاً للبحوث والدراسات في العلوم الإنسانية والإجتماعية التي تتناول أشكال التواصل الهادفة إلى إنماء الإنسان والمجتمعات الإنسانية. وتتمحور الأبحاث في كل عدد من أعداد المجلة حول إشكالية عامة من إشكاليات الإتصال، بدءاً بمحور رهانات الحداثة، ومحور ثان يتعلّق بالإطار القانوني والتشريعي للإتصال، ومحور ثالث يتناول قضايا الإتصال والتربية. وتهدف المجلة إلى تقديم مساهمات فعلية في مجالات التنمية الإنسانية والإجتماعية، وأن تضع الباحثين أمام المسؤوليات والتحدّيات الذهنية والفكرية الجديدة، وأن تركز على الدراسات الميدانية والإحصائية، وعلى تحليل النتائج بما يسفر عن إقتراح الحلول المناسبة.
