نبذة النيل والفرات: أعدّ معجم "المتقن المدرسي الوجيز" الإنجليزي-العربي ليلبي الحاجات الجديدة لطلاب المرحلة الابتدائية في العالم العربي والفرنكوفوني على صعيد الترجمة والدراسة والمعرفة، فهو يشكل أداةً لا غنى عنها لمعرفة اللغتين العربية والإنكليزية والتمكن منهما، حيث يضمّ 6500 مصطلح مردف بمعناه الذي جاء مصاغاً بأسلوب سهل مبسط، غير أنه قد زوّدت بعض المصطلحات التقنية بتعريفات علمية واضحة تزيد من ثقافة الطالب العربي. وزيادة في الإيضاح تمّ تزويد المعجم برسوم ملونة، جاءت في المتن وذيلت بتعليقات بسيطة جاءت باللغتين الإنكليزية والعربية وهذه تهدف لتقديم العون للطالب الذي يطمح لتركيب جملة حسنة مفيدة، كما وذيّل المعجم ببعض اللوحات الملونة عن عالم الحيوان والنبات.
