وفي مسرحيتنا هذه. نجد مجموعة من الأبطال يسيرون في خطوط حياتهم، فمنهم من اتخذ من النف في مجتمع ملئ بالنفاق.أصبح الشريف فيه عملة نادرة وبات المرائي سيد هذا المجتمع. تنقلب الموازين، فينظر إلى الصادق على أنه مخادع وإلى المنافق على أنه رجل أخلاق. وتجد النساء القرويات يحاولن صعود السلم الطبقي للوصول إلى الطبقة الراقية. وفي سبيل أن يتخذن ما تتخذه نساءهذه الطبقة من ثرثرة و استغابة.
وفي مسرحيتنا هذه. نجد مجموعة من الأبطال يسيرون في خطوط حياتهم، فمنهم من اتخذ من النفاق قناعاً ستر به وجهه القبيح. ومنهم من حافظ على صدقه وسعى جهده للإلتزام بالفضيلة.
ولكن ليس الخداع دوماً أمراً مذموماً. حيث سنتعرف على أحد أبطال المسرحية وقد جاء من بعد آخر ليجد في التنكر والتمثيل وسيلة لإلقاء الأقنعة عن الوجوه. ووضع الأمور في نصابها الصحيح.
