تعطي هذه الندوة التي أعدها معهد المشروعات الأمريكي في شهر آب الفائت، حول العلاقة بين الأمم المتحدة والكيان "الإسرائيلي"، أفقاً واضحاً لما يبتغيه الأمريكيون والصهاينة من هذه المنظمة الدولية، وهو التأييد الكامل لسياسات "إسرائيل" العدوانية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، على أساس أنها سياسات مشروعة وأخلاقية في الوقت نفسه! واللافت في مناقشات المتحدثين والحاضرين في هذه الندوة إجماع هؤلاء على الدفاع عن وجود "إسرائيل" وبقائها كونها –بحسب زعمهم- الديمقراطية الوحيدة في الشرق الأوسط، وهي –كما منظمة الأمم المتحدة نفسها- قد نشأت بقرار دولي، بعد سلسلة من الحروب المدمرة! نشير أيضاً إلى "استماقة" المتحدثة باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي في إيران تأييد الاتحاد للكيان "الإسرائيلي" مع تبرير مسهب من قلبها للدعم الذي قدمه الاتحاد لقرار محكمة العدل الدولية في لا هاي بشأن عدم مشروعية الجدار العنصري الفاصل الذي تقيمه قوات الاحتلال في الضفة الغربية والدعوة لإزالته!
