"وبولس سلامة" هو واحد من سلسلة الرسامين الذين تحدث المؤلف من حياتهم وحقيقة اكتشافهم كمواهب فذة، أغنت الأدب العربي بوجه عام والأدب اللبناني بوجه خاص، والمؤلف في قصته يرسم صوراً نثرية لبعض ما رسمه "بولس سلامة" بيراعه، وهدفه اطلاع القراءة من الناشئة على أهم الشخصيات الفذة التي لعبت دوراً هاماً في الفن والأدب، وليحقق هدفه ساق تفاصيل قصة بأسلوب سهل مبسط يغلب عليه الطابع التعليمي، كما وأضاف في خاتمة كل قصة مجموعة من الأسئلة والتمارين التطبيقية التي تدور حول السيرة الكاملة التي يتحدث عنها في كل قصة.
