ينطوي هذا المجلّد على منظومة واسعة من النصوص الشعرية التي وضعها صاحبها في فترات متفاوتة. لا يبخس أحدها من شأن الآخر، ولا يعتم عليه، ولا ينتقص بشيء من دلالاته اللغوية وظلاله الشعرية. اللافت في هذه النصوص، أن الشاعر يقارب صوره من زاوية بعد أن يقدم على تهدئة المفردات مما علّق بها من براثن الاستخدام. ثم يعيد صوغها لتصبح ملكاً حصرياً لرؤيته الشعرية، منفتحاً، في الوقت عينه، على محطات متعاقبة للدلالات التي يجتازها المعنى مأخوذاً بتدفق الحلم في مجرى القول الشعري. صحيح أن الحبيبة تستحوذ على نخبة النظم في النصوص، غير أنه قد يصار الى الملاحظة، ان هذه الحبيبة تشكل أحياناً ذريعة مبررة وضرورية في آن، لحمل اللغة على البوح بمكوناتها العميقة استعداداً لاصطدامها بتجليات الرؤية. ومع ذلك، لا تخلو النصوص التي تعالج قضايا أخرى من الميزة عينها، طالما أن الشاعر مكب على التوغل عميقاً في ذاكرة اللغة ليستكشف ما أمكن من عوالمها المخبوءة، أو ما قد تجود به اللغة بعد استدراجها الى متاهة الرؤية. من الكتاب نقتبس القصيدة الآتية.. الموعد الأول بين التردد والحياءْ طاب اختلاسُ الحُبّ في عبثٍ طفوليٍّ به رَقّ المساءْ حتى ظننّا أننا، نجمانِ صِرْنا في سماءْ وجرى الحديث كأنه لحن ترقْرَق في انتشاءْ كادت تحِنّ لجذوتي، لولا نذير الكبرياءْ ومع اشتهاءِ النارِ.. تهتف بالنداءْ!. هربَت تلمْلم نفسها وهربْت أبحث عن كلامْ قلبان قد عشِقا وما عرَفا تباريح الغرامْ فكأننا في الحب أول موعدِ طفلان ما خَبِرا جلال المشهدِ حتى حسِبْنا أننا غصنان هزّهما هواءْ قالت، على خجلٍ يعانقه حنانْ والشرفة الخضراءُ ترْجُف، والمكانْ امكثْ قليلاً.. ليلنا ومضٌ تلألأ في الزمانْ! والشمعة الجذلى يراقص ظِلّها فرَحُ الجدارْ! والمقعد الخشبي حَنّ، كأنه عشِقَ الحوارْ! راقَ اللقاءْ.. فإلى اللقاءْ!
