Book Description
يتناول الكتاب انتساب صديقين إلى كلية بحرية، واطلاقهما في رحلة واحدة في سفينة بحرية إلى البرازيل. وتتعرض السفينة للعواصف والصواعق، ويتحول الأول بين الركاب يطمئنهم ويهدئهم، فيلتقي بفتاة ترملت في شهر العسل ، وأمها وهما عربيتان مسافرتان إلى البرازيا، ويشاركهما الحديث، ويعرض عليهما خدماته. وتدفع العاصفة السفينة إلى عباب بحر سار العجيب الرهيب، وتدخلها في مثلث الموت مثلث بمودا ، ويثبت السفينة البحارة قريباً من جزيرة بحرية تبدو لهم. ويرسل الأول صديقة الثاني لتفقد السيدتين العربيتين، فيقع الثاني في شباك جمال الفتاة الساحر، ويقوم الأول برحلة لاكتشاف الجزيرة المنظورة مع ثلاثة من مساعديه، فيدخلون أنفاق الازمنة الصعبة، وتقودهم الأمواج إلى مدينة كهفية غريبة، يشاهدون فيها الناس من الأزمنة القديمة جداً والمعاصرة، وتدفعهم الأحداث التي تمتزج فيها الواقع بالخيال والتوقعات المبنية على المنطق العلمي لينجوا أخيراً بأعجوبة دون المفقودين، وتموت الأم ويتزوج العاشقان. ويقع الاول بحب فتاة في المدينة الكهفية، خارج الزمان والمكان، ويفكر في الهرب معها وأبيها إلى خارج مدينة النفق ، في أحداث مثيرة ، ويتوفى الوالد في طريق النجاة، وتموت الفتاة بعده، وينجو البحار وتمضي الأزمان، فيلتقي الزوجان بصديقهما البحار بعد تفرق طويل، في حكاية غريبة مثيرة لا تكاد تصدق.
