"هو تحول أفكار البشر، ورؤاهم الانسانية. والحالة هذه يبدو الناس في هيئة جديدة هي "الذئبية"؛ الحالة الحيوانية الأختل والأخبث، الأخون والأجول. الأعتى والأعوى. الأظلم والأجرأ. الأجوع والأكسب. الأوقح والأنشط. الأجسر والأيقظ. الأعمق والألأم". رواية عميقة تبدو الكتابة منها مثل سؤال يتجلى فيها صوت الراوي بوضوح إذا ما تصفحنا أوراقها عندها تجيب عن بعض أسئلتنا تجاه أنفسنا. أما اتجاه الحياه فهي تدعونا إلى المزيد من التأمل والمناقشة والتحاور بلغة العقل في مواجهة تحديات شتى تلح على إنسان اليوم وأهمها مصير الفرد، وعلاقته بالآخرين والمجتمع وكذلك التاريخ، وكأن الكتابة لدى أديبنا الشدودي هي علم لجراحة الروح اولاً، ولكشف تعقد المعاناة البشرية ثانياً. يقول الكاتب "... هناك جزء من الذئب والأفعى معجون في الإنسان جنباً إلى جنب مه جزء من الحمل والحمام، تشبه الجماعة البشرية خلية كل عضو فيها شرير، ولأن الشر يخدم غرضاً فله قيمته، وفيما لو تخلص من الشر فسيتخلص أيضاً من الخير لملازمته الشر، مما يعني تحطيم الخلية ذاتها...."
