"تفتح لي دفاتر الروح وتقرأ: أعلنتك في الكائنات، وأوصيت بك الحب. لا أنت من الأنبياء ولا يطالك الخلق، وليس للتأويل باب إليك. مكانتك في مكانك، وأرضك في رضوانك، وسلامك في نسيانك وسماؤك في سلوانك ومعناك في عنوانك، فلا تصدق ما يقال لئلا تجهل". أكثر الكلمات كثافة لمديحك والخفيف الخفيف منها لمؤانستك وما يتبقى، حيث لن يكفي، لوصفك". "أيقظتني الساحرة رسمت لي رمزها، وسقتني كأسها، كلما أغفو أراها عند حرفي ساهرة".
في شعره قاسم حداد رموز وكنوز، ومعانٍ لا يدركها إلا من يغوص في عمق المعاني. مقطوعات شعرية لها دلالاتها الفلسفية، وموسيقاها التي تتردد داخل النفس متآلفة مع معانيها التي تحرك الذهن وتشحذه. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن تلك المقطوعات الشعرية قد ترافقت بترجمة إنكليزية وبلوحات معبرة، مما زادها ترفاً وألقاً.
