(الراميانة) هي ملحمة شعرية هندية مغرقة في القدم مكتوبة باللغة السنسكريتية، من الموروث الهندي المقدس وتنسب إلى الشاعر الهندي فالميكي valmiki الذي يظهر في الملحمة بوصفه إحدى شخصياتها، لكن الراجح أن القصيدة من إنشاء عدد من الشعراء والمنشدين، لتكوِن في النهاية بأبياتها التي تبلغ 24 ألفاً، من صناعة العقل الجمعي الهندي وتعبيراً عن مخيال تلك الأمة ومعتقداتها، لذا فإن شخصية «راما» لاتزال حاضرة في الأغاني والرقص والدراما إلى يوم الناس هذا على امتداد الهند.
