وقد جرى تقسيم الكتاب إلى ثمانية عشر فصلاً هي: الفصل الأول: الإتفاقيات الدولية وأنواعها، الفصل الثاني: مؤتمر الأطراف في إتفاقية إستكهولم بشأن الملوثات العضوية الثابتة، الفصل الثالث: الإتفاقية الدولية لقمع جريمة الفصل العنصري والمعاقبة عليها، الفصل الرابع: الإتفاقية الخاصة بوضع اللاجئين، الفصل الخامس: بروتوكول مكافحة تهريب المهاجرين عن طريق البر والبحر والجو والمكمل لإتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية، الفصل السادس: العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والإجتماعية والثقافية، الفصل السابع: القضاء الدولي في مجال حقوق الإنسان- المحاكم الدولية المؤقتة والمحمكة الجنائية الدولية ، الفصل الثامن: المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، الفصل التاسع: الإتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري، الفصل العاشر: النظام الأساسي لمحكمة العدل الدولية، الفصل الحادي عشر: الإتفاقية المتعلقة بالتنوع البيولوجي، الفصل الثاني عشر: إتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة، الفصل الثالث عشر: إتفاقية منع جريمة الإبادة الجماعية والمعاقبة عليها، الفصل الرابع عشر: إتفاقية بشأن وضع الأشخاص عديمي الجنسية، الفصل الخامس عشر: بروتوكول منع وقمع ومعاقبة الإتجار بالأشخاص وبخاصة النساء والأطفال المكمل لإتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية، الفصل السادس عشر: مساهمة القانون الدولي الإنساني في النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية، الفصل السابع عشر، نبذة عن حقوق الإنسان، الفصل الثامن عشر: محكمة العدل الدولية- قضية تم تقديمها إلى المحكمة في سبتمبر2007.
