للدخول الى أي مطار، يـجب أن تتخفى عن عيون الأمن وأفضل وسيلة لذلك، مصاحبة امراءة أو فتاه، فلا تمطرك العيون بالنظرات كما لو كنت تمشي وحدك أو مجموعة من الشباب العرب،لا أذكر من نصحني هذه النصيحة أو أول مرة سمعتها فهي تمر عبر جوانب قريتنا وكأنها جزء من الوصايا المهمة في رحلة التسلل الى أمريكا. لكن هذه الفكرة كانت الدافع، بجانب دوافع أخرى. الى أن أبدأ أحاديث مع فتايات مختلفات في هذه الرحلة. كان بالطائرة التي أقلتنا من " الاكوادور" في غرب أمريكا الجنوبية، الى "كوستاريكا" في أمريكا الوسطى. فتاة تتحدث اللغة الاسبانية، وأنا لا زلت لاأعرف من كلماتها شيئا. لكن هل يكون ذلك مانع، يوقفني. لا شيء يمكن أن يوقف مسيرة هذه الرحلة. مهما كان الثمن. نقدر على التفاهم في أي مكان ومع اي لغة، هكذا كنت أردد في ذهني. كي أدفع نفسي، وطبيعتي، المنطوية، الخجولة . في الاندفاع الى محادثة الفتايات، أو التظاهر بمحادثتهن.
