يعد « صحيح مسلم » من الكتب المعتمدة في علم الحديث الشريف ، وقد انعقد الإجماع على تلقيبه مع « صحيح البخاري » باسم « الصحيحين » . وقد ظهر لكثيرٍ من أئمة النقل وجهابذة النقد أن لمسلمٍ ولكتابه من المزية ما يوجب لهما أوَّليَّة . وحكى بعضهم الإجماع على إمامته وتقديمه وصحة حديثه وتميزه وثقته وقبول كتابه . وقد حصل للإمام مسلم في كتابه « الصحيح » حظ عظيم مفرط ، بحيث كان يفضله بعضهم على « صحيح البخاري » لأنه قد انفرد بفائدة حسنة ، وهي كونه أسهلَ تناولاً من حيث إنه جعل لكل حديث موضعاً يليق به ، جمع فيه طرقه التي ارتضاها ، واختار فيه أسانيده المتعددة وألفاظه المختلفة ، فبذلك يسهل على طالب العلم النظر في وجوهه واستثمارها ، ويحصل له الثقة بجميع ما أورده مسلم من طرقه . ولما كان هذا الكتاب بهذه الصفة ، ومصنِّفه بهذه الحالة .. وجب أن يُخَصَّ بفضل عناية من النشر والفوائد والتخريج ، إذ الاعتناء بحديث رسول الله ﷺ يشرف الأقدار ، ويسدد الاعتبار ، وينفع البصائر ، ويفتح الأبصار ، ويلحق بالأئمة الأبرار . وقد تعددت طبعات « صحيح مسلم » تعدداً كثيراً في بلاد مصر والشام والهند وتركيا والمغرب وغيرها ، ولعل من أجود هذه الطبعات : النسخة المطبوعة في المطبعة العامرة بإصطنبول ، وهي ثمانية أجزاء في أربع مجلدات ، وقد طبعت في عهد السلطان الغازي « محمد رشاد خان » ، ما بين سني ( 1329 _ 1334هـ ) . وقد صححها وحشَّاها : ( أبو نعمة الله الحاج محمد شكري بن حسن الأنقروي ) ، بعد تصحيح مصححَي المطبعة ، بمقابلات مكررة على عدة نسخ معتمدة معتبرة ، وهما الأديبان الأريبان : ( أحمد رفعت بن عثمان حلمي القره حصاري ) و( الحاج محمد عزت بن الحاج عثمان الزعفرانبوليوي ) ، وكذلك بمساعدة ( الحاج ذهني أفندي ) . وإتماماً للفائدة : فقد جاءت هذه الطبعة بتحقيق المقاصد المطلوبة في خدمة وتقريب هذا الصحيح ، وذلك بتقديم خدمة علمية وفنية ، تقتضيها المفاهيم العلمية المعاصرة ، مع المحافظة على طبعة هذا الكتاب ، وإبقاء حواشيه كما جاءت في الأصل . واعتماد ترقيم الأستاذ محمد فؤاد عبد الباقي ، وهذا يسهل الرجوع إلى شروح « صحيح مسلم » ، وكذلك ربط أحاديثه مع « تحفة الأشراف » للمزي و« التحف الظراف » للعلقمي ، مع تصويب الأخطاء الواردة في الكتاب . والله ولي التوفيق
