الكتاب من تحقيق الشيخ نظام يعقوبي. إن في مسألة هبة الثواب من المسائل التي سبق، ولا تزال تسبب، إشكالات وتساؤلات لدى طلبة العلم، فمن منكر لها ومثبت، ومخالف لها ومؤالف. وقد كثرت في هذه المسألة المصنفات، ودار فيه نقاش طويل يبين الأئمة الثقات. وهذا الكتاب للحافظ السخاوي، يعالج هذه المسألة ببسط وإنصاف. هذا وغن القارئ المتأمل لهذا الجزء والمطلع على النصوص المنقولة فيه، وآراء الفقهاء وأئمة المذاهب والمجتهدين، يوقن أن الأمر فيه سعة، وأن المسألة اجتهادية ظنية، ولكلٍّ وجهة ورأي، ودليل واستنباط، وأن مثل هذه المسائل إنما يدور الأمر فيها، بين العقلاء على صحيح أو خطأ، وصواب وأصوب، كما سيجد القارئ في هذا الجزء نفس الحافظ السخاوي الطويل فيه، وجهده، وغزارة ننقوله، وتبحره في تتبع الروايات والأقوال الفقهية والمذاهب. وأما الجزء الثاني من هذا الكتاب فهو "الإيضاح والتبيين بمسألة التلقين" للإمام أبي الخير محمد بن عبد الرحمن السخاوي أيضاً وهو جزء نفيس له، يتم نشره في هذه الطبعة بعد الظن بأنه فقد، واختفى من مصنفات العلماء. ومسألة التلقين هذه تدافعت فيها الآراء، وعلت فيها الأصوات، حتى وصل بعضهم إلى الاقتتال في الجنائز بسببها، والقارئ المتأمل لهذا الجزء والمطلع على النصوص المنقولة فيه وآراء فقهاء وأئمة المذاهب والمجتهدين، يوقن أن الأمر فيه سعة، وأن المسألة اجتهادية ظنية، ولكل وجهة ورأي، ودليل واستنباط، وأن مثل هذه الأمور إنما يدور الأمر فيها، بين العقلاء، على صحيح أو خطأ، وصواب وأصوب، لا على السنة والبدعة، والتضليل والتفسيق.
