رأيتها تتمدد في ذاكرتي، تتمطى في غنج ودلال، تلف شعرها بمنديل تتدلى شراشفه على وجهها، تمسك طرف ثوبها على جنب، يبرز ساقاها المرمريان، تصبغ أظافرها الطويلة وتضع أحمر شفاه ذا رائحة قوية ولون صاخب، تلف على عنقها قلائد من خرزات بلورية شفافة كبيرة شدت بخرز من فضة، زنبقة سوداء تطل من صدرها.. شيء فيها يدل على أنها غجرية. نطت الغجرية من سهوب الذاكرة، حطت على كتفي حافية.. طارت ملائكتي ورفرفت بعيداً عني حاملة كتاب ذنوبي وحسناتي. رقصت الفلامنكو على كتفي، على رؤوس أصابعها وهي تلوح بمروحة صنعتها من ذاكرتي، سرقتها من مدياتي وقربتها إلى أذني... سمعت شبه أنين تلته نبرة تحد.. هل عرفتني؟ جحظن عيناي وفغرت فيهي، حاولت أن أعصر ذاكرتي، أقارب بين الصوت الذي يحدثني وبيني. بدا الصوت شبيهاً بصوتي أو صداه مع شيء من ألم وتعب وكثير من جرأة. أصمت وابحث في داخلي، أقارب بينه وبين شيء لازمني منذ بدأت أميز الأصوات. هل عرفتني؟ يردد للمرة الثانية والثالثة والرابعة و... و.... الصرخة الأولى. أنتفض مذعورة، ألمح الغجرية تضحك مني وتحط كالجنية على يدي، تصفق وتدور، تدور وتصفق... وتهذي بكلام لا أفهمه. قرأت عن لغة التزيغان، الكالو، لعلها هي. عيناها فيهما جرأة ونظرتي فيها استغراب وتوجس وعلامات استفهام. دارت حول نفسها كذا دورة حتى تهاوى جسدها على راحتي. انكبت على وجهها، يداها مبسطوتان على كفي وشعرها ينسدل بين أصابعي كستنائياً ويزحف على ذراعي كثعبان الأدغال... يتمطى على بطنه ويتلوى حتى يبلغ الصدر.. ما زال يزحف وما زلت أرقبه بدون خوف مع أنني لا أمرع مخلوقاً مثل كراهيتي للزواحف بكل أنواعها.. أخاله يبحث عن مسكنه.. يتكوم بين نهدي وينام.
