يعمل في الصحافة الثقافية منذ 1979 , ويتابع الحياة الثقافية والأدبية كناقد.

لا نهاية لنصوص هذا الكتاب. قد أكتب يوماً نصوصاً تماثلها، ما دمت شخصاً يحلم ويكتب أحلامه أو ما ينتقيه منها. كلّ النصوص التي يتضمّنها هذا الكتاب «المفتوح» هي أحلام أبصرتها في الليل أو هي أحلام يقظة، تلك التي يعمد المرء عادة إلى تخيّلها أو «صنعها» في حال من شبه اليقظة، أو اليقظة الخدرة. إنّها نصوص أحلام عكفتُ على تدوينها طوال أعوام. ومن بينها أحلام أبصرتها منذ سنوات وظللت أتذكّرها جرّاء أثرها فيّ أو حبّي لها أو خوفي منها. في أحيانٍ أسرد الحلم كما هو، وفي أخرى أنطلق من أضغاث حلم لأنسج حوله نصّاً. وأحياناً كنت أكتفي بصورة أو لقطة أو وجوه أبصرتها في حلم لأكتب انطلاقاً منها نصوصاً حلميّة صرفة. ولكن ما من نصّ كُتب خارج الحلم، حلم ليل أو حلم يقظة. وفي كلتا الحالين يغدو الحلم الذي أبصره مختلفاً عن الحلم الذي أكتبه، علماً بأنّني، عندما أعيد كتابة الحلم، أبدو كأنّني أحلمه مرّة أخرى ولكن عبر الكلمات. إبصار الحلم أمر وكتابته أمر آخر. لست في هذا الكتاب راوي أحلام، إنّني كاتب أحلام أو حالم داخل اللغة نفسها، حالم أحلام أبصرتها.
