التبس على كثير من الناس أمر علاقة اليهود ببني إسرائيل، ووقعوا بسبب هذا الالتباس في أخطاء جسيمة، رتبوا عليها أحكاماً ومواقف غير مطابقة للواقع، حتى توهم هؤلاء: أن "بني إسرائيل" الذين أثنى الله تعالى عليهم في القرآن الكريم، هم: اليهود الذين غضب عليهم، وكذلك العكس... فاعتبروا-خطأ-أن كل إسرائيلي يهودي، وأن كل يهودي إسرائيلي، خلافاً للواقع، ولوقائع التاريخ وحقائقه الثابتة. ولتصحيح هذه المفاهيم المغلوطة لدى أولئك المتوهمين المازجين بين "بني إسرائيل" و"اليهود"، ولكشف الحقائق التاريخية بهذا الخصوص، وبيانها للناس، ليعرفوها كما هي، من دون تزويرا أو تحوير أو تشويه، جاء هذا الكتاب "بنو إسرائيل واليهود تاريخ ومصير" ليبين الفارق بين "الشعب الإسرائيلي أي" بني إسرائيل، وبين الشعب اليهودي أي: أتباع الديانة اليهودية وكذلك ليوضح أن الدولة المحتلة في فلسطين، ليست دولة إسرائيلية للإسرائيليين، بل هي دولة يهودية ليهود... كل اليهود... سواء أكانوا ساميين، أم حاميين أم خزريين، أم أصول أخرى كاليهود البيرونيين الذين اعتنقوا اليهودية أخيراً، وجيء بهم إلى فلسطين عام 1989، وأن الصرع في القضية الفلسطينية، ليس صراعاً قومياً بين الإسرائيليين والعرب، بل هو صراع عقائدي ديني، بين اليهود المعتدين، والمسلمين المعتدى عليهم، وهو صراع عميق الجذور، ابتدأه اليهود منذ فجر الإسلام و... ولا يزالون.
