نقدم للقارئ الكريم في هذا العدد مجموعة قصصية ,ذات طابع عربي إسلامي أفريقي لمؤلفتها الروائيةالرحالة الفرنسية إزابيل إبرهاردت (ولدت العام 1877 في جنيف ,وتوفيت العام 1904 بالجزائر). تتمتع هذه المجموعة القصصية المميزة بجاذبيتها وتأثيرها الساحر في كل من يقترب من قرائتها ,نظرًا إلى كثرة ترحال الكاتبة إزابيل بين فرنسا وروسيا والجزائر وكيفية إسلامها وزواجها من عربي مسلم على الرغم من ديانة أبويها النصرانيين. وهذه المجموعة القصصية التي تضم القصص التالية:الغريمة ,نحيب اللوز ,ياسمينة ,النقيب ,تاعليث ,اليد تتباين مواضيعها وتختلف ,حيث تحاول من خلالها ايزابيل رصد الحياة وعادات المجتمع الجزائري واحلامه وآماله ومعاناته. كما انه من الملاحظ أن قصصها غالبا ماتبنى على ثنائيات متناقضة متعددة ,كالتقاء حضارتين - الحضارة العربية الإسلامية والحضارةالغربية - المستعمر والمستعمَر ,العامل ورب العمل ,رجل الدين والمريدون ,البؤس والسعادة ,وغيرها من الثنائيات. ونأخذ على سبيل المثال قصة ياسمينة فهي تتناول قصة حب تعالج من خلالها التقاء الغرب في شخص الضابط جاك بالشرق الممثل في شخصية ياسمينة ,وفي الوقت نفسة هو التقاء واختلاف المستعمر والمستعمَر في نمط الحياة والتفكير ,وهو الصراع القائم بينهما
