"من جانب الطور ناديت ابتدى زمني، في ليلة رهوةٍ كان الحبيب بجنحيها يكلمني. ذي.. ليلتي مقلةٌ مجلوّة الرمش أجلو في صحائفها مكابدات لوحيٍ قرَّ في بدني. أدعوك.. لم تكن الأوقات غايتنا، فلا تلمني. هنا قلبي يعاني الهوى العذري. قلت له: لا بأس أن يك ما تدعوه منجذباً إليّ. إني ملكت القلب أجمعه. فكلك الآن مني فاض منك الهوى حتى أَذِنْتُ لجاث عند كعبته.. أن يرفع الطرف عنه حين أبصرتي. لم أحرف القلب عنك ولم يغف الفؤاد ولقد هاجت به زهوةٌ في العالم اللدني. أوحيت لي سيّدي من كل شاردة، فقمت أجلو القذى عن وجهك الحسن أُسَرّ إن نَظَرتْ عيناك لي. أيها الحروف من فني. أكنت تبقي على الودّ الذي سفحت فوق الثنية من آلائه.. أعظم الآلاء في سرنا، يا صاح والعلني".
