المقدمة الآجرومية في النحو لقيت اهتماما قد يكون مما انفرد به هذا متن في النحو، وله عشرات من الشروح والحواشي حتى ان العمريطي نظمها فيما يزيد على مائتي بيت، ومع كون ابن آجروم فاسيا مغربيا الا انها انتشرت حتى قيل " من دخل النحو منها فتح له ومن لم يدخله منها لم يفتح له " وها هم علماء اليمن يولونها الاهتمام فشرحها الرعيني الحطاب باختصار موردا التعريفات والامثلة، ثم تلقى الشيخ محمد الاهدل شرحه بالعناية فصله ونسب الأقوال والفوائد الى اصحابها في كتبهم واعرب كثيرا منها، وتمم الفائدة الشيخ عبد الله الشعبي فشرح شواهد " الكواكب " مبينا بحرها وقائلها ومعناها اللغوي واعرابها والشاهد فيها فجاء عظيم الفائدة
