نبذة النيل والفرات: إن تاريخ الحركة التحررية الكوردية في القرن العشرين مرتبط ارتباطاً وثيقاً بعائلة البارزانيين. أجيالاً عدة من هذه العائلة دافعت ببطولة عن حقوق شعبها، والآن في جنوب كوردستان، لا يزال أبناء هذه العائلة -مسعود البارزاني ونيجيرفان البرزاني وغيرهما- يتابعون بنجاح نضال أجدادهم العظماء. لا شك إن أشهر وأعظم الشخصيات في عائلة البارزاني هو مصطفى البارزاني، ففي العالم كله، لن تجد كوردياً لا يعرف اسم البارزاني، وعندما كان على قيد الحياة، نظمت الأشعار والأغاني عنه وكذلك الحكايات والأساطير التي تداخلت بشكل عضوي في نسيج الفلكلور الكوردي الغني، هذه الأغاني والحكايات بنيت على أساس الأحداث الواقعية التي حصلت معه، وما زالت تلهم الشعب في نضاله لنيل حقه في الحياة. لم ينحني البارزاني قط أمام العدو، لذا غدا شعلة للأكراد أينما وجدوا. إن اسم البارزاني والقضية التي ناضل من أجلها غدا مثلاً يحتذى به بين الشبيبة الكوردية. عن هذا المناضل يتحدث الكتاب الذي بين يدينا حيث تستعرض المقالات الخاصة التي يضمها لمحات عن حياته الشخصية والسياسية، فنص دينيس كوماروف يثير الانتباه مع العلم أنه علمي وتاريخي بحت عن مراحل نضال وحياة البارزاني. وهذا أول عمل له باللغة الروسية. ومذكرات كيسيلوف مهمة جداً، ويدين له الشعب الكوردي لأنه أنقذ الملا مصطفى في عام (1962) بوجود مؤامرة لاغتياله. وفي هذه المجموعة أيضاً، خاطرة الكاتب الكوردي باقي نازي المميز بنكهتها الأدبية والانطباعية.
