سامية بكري كاتبة صحفية بمجلة حريتي التابعة لدار الجمهورية للصحافة، ولدت بمدينة القاهرة ،حصلت على الثانوية العامة بترتيب السادس على الجمهورية وتم تكريمها ضمن أوائل الثانوية العامة ودرست الصحافة بكلية الاعلام -جامعة القاهرة ،ثم تدرجت في العمل الصحفي حتى وصلت الى منصب نائب رئيس تحرير مجلة حريتي ،مارست الكتابة الصحفية في عدة دوريات ثقافية أهمها مجلة الدوحة القطرية، وبعض الصحف منها جريدة الحياة اللندنية ، ومجلة كل الاسرة الاماراتية ومجلة زينة السعودية
صدر لها أربعة كتب ؛هي : ظرفاء الفيس بوك -كتاب ساخر ورواية ونسة ومجموعة قصصية بعنوان رقصة مؤجلة وكتاب مشترك مع عدة كاتبات بعنوان لاشيء للرجال فقط.
حصلت على جائزة إحسان عبد القدوس في القصة القصيرة ، حصلت على ورش عمل ثقافية وأدبية أهمها ورشة الحكاية ومافيها للكاتب محمد عبد النبي وورشة السيناريو للكاتب والسيناريست عبد الرحيم كمال وورشة للكتابة للطفل للدكتورة سمية رمضان الاستاذ بأكاديمية الفنون

أما هي فقد كانت تقول لنا في فضفضاتها الكثيرة: نفسي راجل يبوسني من بقي ولو مرة واحدة بس، سني بقى اتنين وتلاتين سنة، والوحيد اللي لمسني...... تبتسم في نشوة وهي تتذكر ذلك الشاب الذي وقف ورائها في أتوبيس السيدة عائشة المزدحم وكيف أنها قررت النزول لتركب ميكروباص أو تاكسي لولا أنه أثار جسدها، جعلتها سخونة الجو ترخي نفسها تمامًا، وتسكت له وهو يمد يده إلى صدرها.
لكن أحد الركاب لاحظ حركات الولد، فشتمه لينسحب بجسده وينزل مسرعًا في أول محطة، وتشيعه هي من شباك الأتوبيس بنظراتها.
لقد أطلقت على أحد أفراد قبيلتنا اسم "الولد الصايع": لأن حكاته في أجساد الإناث كانت تذكرها بذلك الشاب الذي استلطفته لأنه غازلها بعيونه ونظر طويلًا إلى وجهها قبل أن يجرؤ على فعل ما فعل.
