(من مواليد بغداد بتاريخ 20 سبتمبر 1962) هو عالم الفيزياء النظرية النووية من العراق , أكاديمي ، مؤلف و مذيع.
ولد ببغداد بتاريخ 20 سبتمبر 1962, من أب عراقي الأستاذ صادق الخليلي, و أم بريطانية السيدة جين ويتكروفت.[1] درس العلوم الفيزيائية في جامعة سري, و تخرج منها بدرجة البكالوريوس في العلوم عام 1986, و استمر لنيل درجة الدكتوراه في نظرية التفاعل النووي ، والتي حصل عليها في عام 1989.
حصل على جوائز و تقديرات مختلفة و الآن يعمل كأستاذ جامعى و كذلك محاضر في العلوم كما يبث مختلف البرامج في الراديو و التلفزة البريطانية.
الخليلي متزوج من جولي ولديه ابن ديفيد، وابنة كيت.
