....فكرة الظلال مربكة، الكل يُجمع على أنَّ الظلّ بلا روح وبلا عينين ولا حتى هو بمبصر، وبأنه اللاشيء الذي نحتارُ بتسميته، ويقولون أيضاً إنه الجبان التابع الطفيليّ المستقرّ دائماً على الأرض والمختبىء وراء الأشياء والخائف حتى من حلمه… ..ذلك الظل الذي نهمله دائماً متجنبين مزاجيته متوهّمين غزارةَ صمته، يبدو جالساً كحياة أخرى.. ينصت جيداً أو يصمت جيداً، ولا يقاطعنا نحن الأم التي تثرثرُ فوقه، فيركن في الطابق السفلي ليتسنّى له رؤية شاملة لكل ما يعلوه… .. الظل هو الجنديّ المجهولُ الذي يسابقنا ليضعَ نفسه بدلاً منا في مكان الخطر، الرصاصة الأولى في كتفه والأخيرة على الدرب المؤدّي إلى إسفلته، هو أسمر وبشوش وبلا هيئة وفارغ حتى الخفة بحيث يمكن للمرء أن يخلق له أي روح، وأن يضعُ له أي رأس أراد تخيله، أو وجه اشتاق إليه من الزمن العابر… .. الكل يجمعُ على أن صلاحيةً الظل باتت منتهيةً والتعفن آتٍ لا محالة، وأن عالم الظلال هذا سوف يكنَسُ ما أن تهبّ رياحُ الخماسين، وتنظف معها علبَ الليل وتهدم مناجمَ الحواس، وسوف يمحى ما أن يستيقظ الغرباء من رقادهم العميق... وحين نربحُ نحن النساء حظاً سنترك وراءنا ظلالنا في الأسرّة وعند عتبات المطابخ وفي أسواقِ النخاسة، ونذرفُ عليها دموعاً أشدّ عداوة من ضحكات المنفصمين…. لوركا سبيتي حيدر، شاعرة ومدرِّسة لبنانية. صدر لها: أنت لي الآن تحرر(شعر)، دار مختارات، 2004. عند أول مرسى( شعر)، دار النهضة العربية،2008. سلسلة قصص للأطفال(قيد الطبع).
