(قبلة الوداع الأخير) رواية رومانسية يرويها "عادل سالم" بواسطة راوٍ واحد هو بطلها سامح الذي لا يزال حب رانيا يسكن في قلبه على الرغم من مرور عشر سنوات على مغادرته لبنان وزواجه في اميركا وإنجابه ثلاثة أولاد. وفي الرواية تتعرض رانيا لحادث يجعلها ترفض الزواج من سامح على الرغم من حبها له. وعندما يعود بعد غياب طويل يجدها قد ماتت في ظروف غامضة فلا يبقى له إلا الذكرى وقبلو وداع أخيرة "إقتربت منها أكثر أصبح رأسي فوق رأسها. وضعت يدي على رأسها أتحسسه للمرة الأخيرة، كنت في تلك اللحظة أستعيد رحلتي معها. ألقيت برأسي وصدري عليها، عانقتها كما يتعانق الأحباب، كانت دموعي تنهمر كسيل جارف، بل كنهر دافق لا يقف في طريقه أحد (...) طبعت آخر قبلة على شفتيها بينما كانت الدموع تغسلها كي تهزم صورة المجرم الذي ظل يعيش داخلها ويهزمها. وكي لا تكون قبلاته التي إغتصبها آخر ما يطبع على شفتيها..." قبلة الوداع الأخير، رواية عن الحب والحرب والتي غالباً ما تكون الأنثى إحدى ضحاياها.
