جائزة وزارة الثقافة الفلسطينية لأدب الأطفال 2011، حصل هذا الكتاب على جائزة أفضل نص في إصدارات أدب الأطفال الصادرة خلال العامين 2009 – 2010. تتناول الرواية مذكرات "حلا" ابنة الستة عشر عاماً والتي تعيش في مخيم الشاطئ للاجئين في غزة. وكانت "حلا" قد فقدت والدها الذي استشهد أثناء القصف الإسرائيلي الذي خلف ندبة في وجهها كذلك. "حلا" تحب القراءة، وتكتب في دفتر يومياتها عن مشاعرها ومذكراتها الخاصة. تتحدث الرواية عن التحديات التي تواجهها "حلا" إثر إصابتها، والمشاكل النفسية التي عانت منها بسبب العلامة في وجهها، ثم التغييرات التي طرأت على حياتها بعد العملية الجراحية التي خلصتها منها.
