يدرس كتاب (منهجية التحليل النحوي للنصوص الأدبية) موضوع الإعراب ويقدم ما هو أساسي في هذا الموضوع وتوزع في ثلاثة فصول: أولها جاء تحت عنوان "تاريخ الإعراب واساليبه" وضع خلاله المؤلف المعالم التاريخية للموضوع في إطارها الزمني ومضمونها العلمي، وكلاهما يشيران إلى أن الأمة العربية عرفت لها آثار ومواطن ولغة وحضارات منتشرة في اليمن والجزيرة العربية والشام والعراق وشمالي افريقيا وشرقيها، كذلك عرف التاريخ كتابات الخط المسماري والمسند والنبطي والجزم (...) كذلك بحث الفصل في المدرسة القرآنية الأولى واتساع آفاقها بين الصحابة والتابعين، وإسهامهم في تفسير الآيات الكريمة وجهوده النحاة ورجال الفقه والنحو والشعراء. وجاء الفصل الثاني تحت عنوان "المنهج العلمي لتحليل النصوص" ويتضمن تعريف التحليل النحوي وبيان مراحله العملية، مع الإشارة إلى وجوب إنتظام الإجراءات وتوحيد المصطلحات وأساليب التعبير، واختيار ايسر الوجوه الموافقة للمعاني الدلالية وتوجهات الإعراب للمفردات والجمل وأشباهه والتحليل الصرفي ومعاني الأدوات وأعمالها... ثم كانت وقفة متأنية تفسر بعض المصطلحات الواردة في عمليات التحليل، بهدف تيسير المفاهيم والمصطلحات التي تحقق الغاية من البحث والتعليم وتأهيل العاملين في ميادين العربية والأدب والعلوم الشرعية. وأخيراً الفصل الثالث، ويضم "نماذج تطبيقية"، تبسَط عمليات التحليل كما رسمَها النهج المقترح، في نصوص من القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف والشعر القديم، وقد اتبع المؤلف ذلك بخطوات لعناصر الإعراب والصرف ومعاني الأدوات، مع الحفاظ على وحدة المصطلحات والأساليب التعبيرية، والتنسيق بين ذلك في مسيرة التطبيق، كل ذلك يأتي بهدف تكوين المهارات النحوية في تحليل النصوص الأدبية وتيسيرها لطلاب العلم والباحثين عموماً.
