قد يود الإنسان وهو ينظر إلى (صورة) تعجبه أن يلمسها، أو يتذوّقها، أو يشمّها أحياناً فحواسناتشار أمام تمثال من (الكرستال) مثلاً، وحين نلمس زجاجة الصقيل نرتاح لنعومته، وقد يذكرنا بـ(الثلج) فيمد أحدنا لسانه ليتأكد من درجة حرارته وأحياناً نشم (صورة) الزهور عن المجلات!! في مثل هذه المواقف تحفزنا "الصورة" حسياً، كما يحدث لنا يوماً في حياتنا الطبيعية، حين نلمس أكف البشر (الناعمة والخشنة)، وحين نتذوّق طعم الفواكه، ونشم أريج الزهور. في الخيالة (CINEMA)، يحاول المخرج السينمائي أن ينقل إلى (المتفرج) هذا الإحساس، ولكن كيف يمكن أن يفعل ذلك؟ بالطبع ليس أمامه سوى البحث عن كيفية صناعة الصورة السينمائية الجذابة.
إن صورة المركب في "بحر" والزورق في "نهر" الذي ننظر إليه يومياً، أو صورة الناس في الأسواق أو شروق الشمس وغروبها، أمور يومية، ولكن حين تجرب أن تصورها بـ(كاميرا) فوتوغرافية مثلاً، يتعين أن تقوم بإجراءات عديدة لإنجاح اللقطة الجيدة، وهذه هي المرحلة الأولى: في التميز بين حواسنا الطبيعية وحواسنا (الفنية) التي تنقل لنا بواسطة (الضوء) مظاهر العالم حولنا.
إن الكاميرا السينمائية، أداة بيد المخرج، ولكن المخرج لا يصوّر بيديه هو، إنما بيد "المصور"، وينبغي عليه أن ينقل (الصورة) التي يريد تصويرها إلى هذا المصور. وكما نعرف أن (عين) المخرج، هي غير (عين) المصور، وهنا تقوم مرحلة ثانية، بين ما يريد تصويره، وبين فهم المصور لتلك "الصورة" المطلوبة، فإن لم تكن (الصورة) جذابة على المستويات كافة أو بعضها، يفشل الفيلم. والسؤال: ماذا يقصد بجاذبية "الصورة" السينمائية؟ وكيف يحقق المخرج صورته السينمائية؟ وكيف يزيد عن طريق الصورة فعالية المتفرج على التلقي؟ هذا ما سيكون مدار البحث في هذا الكتاب "جاذبية الصورة السينمائية".
