وفي هذا الكتاب يبث الريحاني طائفة من الآراء التي تهم العرب خصوصاً والإسلام عموماً، والتي تهم الأوروبيين عموماً والإنكيز خصوصاً، يجدها القارئ في مكانها من البحث، والذي ضم في مادته ترجمة لسبعة من أمراء العرب غير "الحسين بن علي"، وكلهم ملوك وان اختلفت الألقاب، مستقلون بعضهم عن بعض، وجاهلون شخصياً بعضهم بعضاً
والغاية من هذا الكتاب كما يقول مؤلفه في مقدمته " في هذا الكتاب، اعرف سادتي ملوك العرب بعضهم إلى بعض تعريفاً يتجاوز الرسميات والسطحيات، وغايتي تمهيد السبيل إلى التفاهم المؤسس على العلم والخير اليقين.. "فتعالوا اسبحوا معي إلى بلاد عجيبة على فقرها، إلى شعب كريم على آفاته، وإلى أمة حرة أبية على ذنوبها"
