* “رجال بلا بنادق” رواية تجسّمت فيها صور الأحداث لترسم معالم طور جديد من أطوار الصراع البشري· فالرجال بعدما سقطت البنادق من أيديهم في جبهات الحرب، وجدوا أنفسهم داخل أقفاص الأسر في مواجهة سلطة دولة تسعى بكل الوسائل المتاحة لديها لتجعل منهم أدوات، فتسخّر البعض للقتال ضد جيش كانوا هم جنوده أعواناً، وترسل مجاميع أخرى في مهمات تخريبية داخل حدود بلدهم، وما يتوفّر بعد ذلك تجعل منهم أعواناً لها أو عيوناً· * في الوقت الذي يصّبح الأسرى ويمّسوا في بعض المعتقلات على إذاعة طهران التي تبث برامجها بصوت عالٍ عبر مكبّرات صوت تنصب داخل قاعات نوم الأسرى، تعتمد سياسة تعتيم شاملة في معتقلات أخرى حتى تعدّ عملية ضبط أقصوصة جريدة في يد أحد الأسرى جريمة تحيل صاحبها إلى عذاب السعير· وعندما لا تجدي مثل هذه الأساليب نفعاً، يلعلع الرصاص ليزهق أرواح عشرات الرجال في كل حادثة من الحوادث التي شهدتها سوح الأقفاص خلال فترة الحرب في “برندك” و”قوجان” و”كركان”· * كيف واجه الرجال وهم عزّل مثل هذه الأساليب التي يندى لها الجبين؟ إنّ الجواب على هذا السؤال وغيره يتجلّى في فصول هذه الرواية، فكل الرجال الذين اكتووا أو لا زالوا يكتوون بنار هذا الصراع هم أبطالها، ماخلا أولئك الذين استحالوا إلى مخالب لينهش بها الجلاّد لحم من يقاوم·
